#MINI-MAS|Keke Palmer Inspired Party Makeup & Outfit

A little outfit and makeup inspiration from Scream Queens actress Keke Palmer!

Roll on the Christmas Parties! Right about now, most people are looking forward to and perhaps frantically preparing for the gathering of the year! If you're still not sure what to wear for that upcoming Christmas party, whether it be at a fancy hall, a house, or restaurant; here's a little outfit and makeup inspiration from Scream Queens actress Keke Palmer. Okay so this monochrome look is from her appearance at Comic Con in the summer but we all know a killer dark lip and festive colour palette statement gets you everywhere at this time of year. Plus you can't really go wrong- after all you are only wearing one colour!
This shade of purple, (called anything between Aubergine, Wine and Eggplant, depending on your perspective) is really flattering especially on olive/darker skin tones. If you're bored of the LBD, and lets be honest, black is just too safe sometimes, dark feminine colours are your next go-to.

Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Almond 6.5
LA Girl Pro Concealer in Almond
Dior Sourcils Poudre Eyebrow Pencil
Bobbi Brown Telluride Palette: " Blazing Star" and " Heather Rose"
Rimmel  3 in 1 "Winter" Blush
Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Prague
Nars Lip Liner in Train Bleu

I recreated Keke's outfit with a top and skirt/trouser combo. Keke's jumpsuit is designer, so for a cheaper alternative, I found a dressy peplum and paired it with a matching colour on my bottom half. Surprisingly elegant and best of all you won't have to worry about taking off your whole ensemble for a toilet break!
Personally the circle skirt option is so "sugar plum fairy"; it's the girl in me all over, but my style is pretty much androgynous, so I love the structure and fit that the trousers give.

Peplum Top: OLD
Circle Puff Skirt: ASOS
High Waisted Trousers: ASOS

Thumbs up Keke! I may just put this all back together for Christmas day :)
FUN FACT: My childhood nickname was Keke !

If you're off to your annual Christmas bash, hope its great and memorable!

Until Next Time
